Huey Kent

A retired Welder with Allied Signal, a resident and native of Pride, he passed away Sunday April 7, 2013 at 8:15 am at his residence at the age of 82. Religious services will be at an 11:00 am graveside on Tuesday April 9, 2013 at Sandy Creek Cemetery conducted by Rev. Basil Wicker. Mr. Kent is survived by a daughter, Kimbra Lamont, a daughterinlaw, Melissa M. Kent, who was like a daughter to him, and a son Karmon Keith Kent. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Margaret Judy Kent, his parents, Carmon and Frances Kent, 2 daughters, Karen Kay Smith and Kahne Siffert and a grandson, Ryan Kent Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Keith Kent and Bobby Harris.
