George "Willie" McDonald

A resident of Baker, Willie passed away at his home on Sunday, April 26, 2015. He was 74, and native of Natchez, MS. He was a US Navy veteran, and a retired pipefitter/welder with Local 198, having worked in various chemical plants.

Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Friday, May 1, from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11am, conducted by Rev. Jay Avance. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker.

Willie is survived by his wife, Olivia "Dinki" McDonald; a daughter, Sarah Marie McDonald; two grandchildren, Ivory Olivia Rose Fields, and Dinki William Mire; and a step-son, Mark Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Blanch McDonald.
