Francis Cloud

Francis Ray Cloud, 79 years old, was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 19, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He entered this world on August 27, 1946, born to Annie and Johnnie Cloud, in Oakdale, LA. He was a Deacon at Feliciana Baptist Church.

Francis is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Melba Gay Cloud; son, John E. Love (Dawn); daughters, Shana L. Tate (David), Donna L. Rieck (Bill), Tonna L. Scott (Jim); 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Francis is preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Ray Cloud; mother, Annie Johnson Cloud; 5 sisters; and 2 brothers.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jesse Easley, Micah Easley, Rocky Smith, Daron Lillie, Jim Scott, DeWayne Turner, Matthew Willis, and Val Buxton.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Reverend Tony Hand. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
