Eunice Stubbs Toney

Eunice Stubbs Toney, 86 years old, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 2, 2026, at 3:00 PM, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on December 27, 1939, born to Pauline and Arthur Stubbs, in Pride, LA. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church.

Eunice is survived by her loving children, Keith Toney (Jody), Mike Toney (Valerie), Liz Toney Landry (Jay), and Greg Toney (Regina); 8 grandchildren, Austin Toney, Meagan Toney, Tre' Landry, Courtney Chaudoin, Ross Toney, Lynsey Toney, Victoria Toney, and Brooke Toney; 10 great-grandchildren, Gabe, Daniel, Charley, Silas, Caleb, Carter, Jack, Georgia, Miller, and Miles; 2 sisters, Aline Newman and Gladys Almond; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Eunice is preceded in death by her husband, James Toney; father, Arthur Stubbs; mother, Pauline Glotz Stubbs; 2 brothers, A.J. Stubbs and A.D. "Uncle Son" Stubbs; and sister, Jeanette Hanna.

Serving as pallbearers will be Keith Toney, Mike Toney, Greg Toney, Austin Toney, Tre' Landry, and Ross Toney.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Deacon Tommy Benoit. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, in Baker, Louisiana.
