Ervin Heil

Ervin "Erv" Edward Heil, 90 years old, went to be with the Lord on May 1, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He entered this world on February 8, 1935, born to Almeda and Christian Heil, in Lake Placedo, TX. He was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church for many years. He enjoyed bowling with his wife, Helen, in the Bowling Leagues in Baton Rouge. Erv enjoyed the outdoors, fishing at his camp in Brookeland, Texas at Lake Sam Rayburn and golfing later in life. He even made a hole in one in his early 80's.

Erv is survived by his loving wife of over 60 years, Helen McBroom Heil; son, Glenn Heil (Fran); daughters, Faith Heil Jellison (Nathanial) and Mistie Heil Lee (John); daughter-in-law, Keri Heil; son-in-law, Norman Guidry; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Erv is preceded in death by his father, Christian Rudolph Heil; mother, Almeda Horn Heil; son, Chris Heil; daughters, Debbie Heil Seay and Stacie Heil Guidry; and sister, Betty Boatwright.
