Edith Howell

Edith Nell Howell, 85 years old, beloved mother, grandmother and great- grandmother was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 9, 2018. Edith entered this world on March 14, 1933, born to Simmie and Ethel Howell, in Winnsboro, Louisiana.

Edith is survived by her daughter, Blenda Quin and husband Gary, along with their family; Jessica Davis, husband Matt and their children, Kahlan and Lailah, Nathan Quin, wife Cara and their children Madison, Emma and Maddox, and Stephanie Quin; two sons, Jerry Hammett, and Edward Hammett and wife Kay, along with 11 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; and sister in law, Earnestine Howell.

Edith is preceded in death by her parents Simmie David and Ethel Crain Howell; three brothers, Garland Howell, S.T. Howell and A.J. Howell; and two sisters, Dorothy Moore and Pearl Rome.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Reverend Edward Hammett.
