Earlene Boudreaux

Earlene Schroeder Boudreaux, 82 years old, beloved Mother, Spouse, Daughter, Mother-in-law, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, and Aunt, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on November 19, 1943, born to Veneta and Earl Schroeder, in Springfield, MO.

Earlene began her career as a hairstylist before finding her greatest passion as a florist, especially working with Stargazer Lilies and Tropical Flowers like Birds of Paradise. She LOVED FLOWERS!!! Her favorite hobby was playing slot machines, on the Gulf Coast, in Tunica, or Las Vegas, sharing fun times and adventures with Leroy, family, and friends.

She treasured time with family, enjoying dinners, birthdays, holidays-particularly Christmas and Mardi Gras-and loved spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Earlene is survived by her son, Doug Babin; son-in-law, Wayne Cassard; grandchildren, Lacy Jarreau, Brayden Miles, Joseph Jarreau and Mary Rinckey; great-grandchildren, David Phagan,Lydia Justine Jarreau, Hunter James Kennedy and Ryleigh Marie Kennedy; brother-in-law, Jim Babin, Sr.; sister-in-law, Ann Babin; sister-in-law, Margaret Schroeder; and a host of nieces and nephews, Landon and Katie Schroeder, Allison and Lenny Larroquette, Jim Babin Jr, Mike Babin, and Darren Babin.

Earlene is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Boudreaux; father, Earl Schroeder; mother, Veneta Schroeder; brother, Crit L. Schroeder; daughter, Jane Jarreau; and a son-in-law, Wagner Jarreau.

Service will be performed by Earlen's nephew Landon Schroder.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 from 9:00 AM until the Celebration of Life Service at 10:00 AM. The burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker, LA.
