Dianne Phillips Williamson, 73, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was called to her eternal resting place on November 19, 2017. She entered this world on November 6, 1944 born to William and Zettie Mae Phillips in Holly Ridge, Louisiana. She was a long-time employee with The Crossroads Grocery in Zachary, a former deputy reserve with the Zachary Police Department and a former Ladies Auxiliary Member with the Zachary Fire Department. She was known as "The Frog Lady" due to her extensive collection of frogs from around the world.
Dianne is survived by two sons, Jackie L. Williamson and Nolan M. Williamson, Jr. and wife, Leah, both of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Randall W. Williamson and Austin J. Williamson; great-grandchild, Gunner W. Williamson; two sisters, Ima Jean Hendrix of Pioneer, Louisiana and Bonnie McDowell of Bastrop, Louisiana; two brothers, William T. Phillips of West Monroe, Louisiana and Edward M. Phillips of Midland, Texas; and numerous special nieces, nephews and friends.
Dianne is preceded in death by her parents, William J. and Zettie Mae Phillips.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, on Monday, November 27, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Reverend Jay Avance.
