Diane Shavers

Diane Helstrom Shavers, 76, beloved friend, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother peacefully went to her eternal home on Thursday, November 4, 2021, surrounded by loved ones. Her ability to love unconditionally and put a smile on your face will be greatly missed by so many.

Diane is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Stacie Marino Shavers and Brett and Chikae Shavers; grandchildren, Christopher Shavers, Hunter Marino, Clyde Shavers, and Emily Shavers; great-grandson, James Shavers; a tremendous family of loving cousins, nieces, and nephews spanning from coast to coast; and her loyal furbaby and companion, Theodore Francis Shavers also known as “Teddy” shall miss her dearly as well.

Diane is preceded in death by her husband, James Shavers; her parents, James and Marion Helstrom; and brother, David Helstrom.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Monday, November 08, 2021, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
