Delbert Denver Oulman

A resident of Baker, and a native of Oelwein, Iowa, Delbert passed away on Wednesday, December 03, 2014, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. He was 78, and retired from the railroad and SSS Fabricators.

Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, Baker, LA, on Sunday, Dec. 7, from 48pm, and on Monday, Dec. 8, from 9am until religious services in the chapel 11am, conducted by Rev. Nick Hagar. Interment will be private.

Delbert is survived by four children, Mark Oulman and wife Kelli, Angelie Downing and husband Paul, Ruth Seijo and husband Ramiro, and Christian Oulman a sister, Rose Hess nine grandchildren, and four greatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Oulman and his parents, Kathleen and Denver Oulman.

Delbert never met a stranger. He was a rock hound, and loved music and nature. He was a jack of all trades.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Carpenter House.
