David Richard Reyes

A resident of Walker and a former longtime resident of Austin, TX, David passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 20, 2015. He was 65, a native of Port Arthur, TX, and retired from AT&T with over 40 years of service.

Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Monday, August 24, from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11:00am. He will be laid to rest in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Serving as pallbearers are Mark Mistric, Cody Mistric, Kenny Mistric, Jayson Braud, Luke Fontenot, and John "Rusty" Munson.

David is survived by his mother, Frances Sifuentes Mistric; sister, Stephanie Mistric; brother, Mark Mistric (Melissa); nieces and nephews, Jayson Braud (Blair), Jayme Braud, Cody Mistric, Kendall Mistric, and Abigail Mistric; a great nephew, Jackson Braud, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, David G. Reyes; step-father, Leon Mistric, Jr.; and his paternal grandparents, Rufus and Patricia Sifuentes.
