Cheryl Pickering

A loving mother, daughter, and sister, and a resident of Baker, she passed away at her home on Thursday, March 13, 2014. She was 47, a title clerk, and a native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Tuesday, March 18, from 48pm. Visiting resumes Wednesday, March 19, at St. Isidore Catholic Church from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am, celebrated by Rev. Frank Bass. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived by father, James Schlatre, Sr. mother and stepfather, Charlotte and Bob Marshall daughter, Reagan Pickering stepson, Alston Tyler Pickering two brothers, Malcolm and Tim Schlatre niece and nephew, Ava and Bryce Schlatre and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Eunice and Jesse Brashear paternal grandparents, and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Richard Schlatre, Sr.
