Charles Morgan, Jr.

Charles Frank "Chuck" Morgan, Jr., a man of profound kindness and steady character, was called home to his Lord and Savior on January 14, 2026, at the age of 56. His journey began on December 9, 1969, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he was born to Kitty and Frank Morgan, Sr.

Known to all as a "gentle soul," Chuck lived a life rooted in the land and the simple joys of nature. He was a dedicated steward of his farm, finding deep peace in the rhythm of the seasons. Whether he was tending to his beloved cattle, quietly feeding his fish on the back 40, or navigating his property atop one of his cherished John Deere tractors, Chuck was most at home in the great outdoors.

While he took pride in his work, his greatest harvest was the love he sowed within his family. He was a devoted father and son, grandfather, and a legendary uncle and great-uncle who leaves behind a legacy of warmth and integrity. To his siblings, he was a constant friend and a pillar of strength.

Chuck's life was defined by his quiet generosity and his unwavering devotion to those he held dear. He will be deeply missed by his family, his friends, and the community he touched with his gentle spirit.

Chuck is survived by his loving daughter, Drew Morgan Albertson (Robert); 4 grandsons, RJ, Brock, Reid, and Branson; father, Charles "Frank" Morgan, Sr.; mother, Kitty Nell Morgan; sisters, Melanie Lanie Morgan and Christie Matthews (Lenny); niece, Stacie Morgan (Mike); 2 great nieces, Mailey and Wrenlie; and 1 great nephew, Levi.

Chuck is preceded in death by his paw paw, EP Morgan; and maw maw, Josephine C. Morgan.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. The Entombment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, in Baker, LA.
