Charlene Wilkinson

A longtime resident of Zachary, LA, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Lane Regional Medical Center, Zachary. She was 55 years old. Charlene enjoyed her church home and family and she served as a cook with The Community Caf at First United Methodist Church, Baker. She loved her Savior and served Him in all she did. She will be missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the services at First United Methodist Church in Baker Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 1 pm. Visitation will begin Friday April 4, 2014 at Baker Funeral Home from 5 pm 8 pm and again on Saturday at First United Methodist Church from 11 am 1 pm. Services will be conducted by Rev. Gene Rives. Interment will follow in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Charlene is survived by her husband of 33 years, Jessie Wilkinson daughter, Tricia Wilkinson two sons, Jeramie wifeDiane Wilkinson, Matthew Wilkinson fianc Samatha Thompson her grandchildren, Ashleigh, Kyle and Nathan 2 adopted grandchildren, Alexis McGraw and Rebecca Guy. Charlene is also survived by her sister, Bernice Kimball and 3 brothers, Norris, Earl and Robert Guilbeau. Preceding Charlene in death were her parents, Neal and Murdis Guilbeau and her father and motherinlaw, Roland and Rosmary Wilkinson.
