Carolyn Hebert

Carolyn Kay Hebert, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 4, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, she was 74. She entered this world on November 11, 1950, born to Christena and George Gardner, in Pine Bluff, AR. She was a member of Bethany Church in Baker, Louisiana. Carolyn loved the Lord and serving others, she was an avid gardener and jewelry maker and made a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Michele Hebert; grandchildren, Cody Sholmire, Chase Sholmire, Justin Sholmire, Alyssa St.Pierre, Cason Schexsnayder, Victoria Schexsnayder, Destiny Sanchez, and Julian Hebert Jennings; 13 great-grandchildren with one on the way; a brother, Robert Christopher Gardner; a sister, Robin Sue Butcher; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Claude Joseph Hebert Jr; her father, George Gardner; mother, Christena Webb Gardner; a daughter, Susan Rene Jennings; and a brother, David Gardner.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Brian Hilbun. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Baker, Louisiana.
