Billy Allison

Billy Steve Allison, 86, passed away at Carrington Place on July 7, 2016 at 6:30 am. He was born on August 18, 1929, a native of Winthrop, Arkansas, a resident of Baton Rouge and longtime member of First Baptist Church in Baker.

He is survived by two sons; Ricky Allison, wife Sherry Lewis Allison and Greg Allison, wife Terri Parnell-Allison; six grandchildren; Ashley Allison, Kevin Allison, Brandon Allison, Shauna Nicosia, Brittni Allison, fiancé James Lugenbuhl, Michael Allison, wife Rachael Blanchard Allison, Stephanie Parnell Jenkins, husband Joshua Jenkins; six great-grandchildren, Braelyn Allison, Ella-Kate Brown, Brayden Allison, Myra, Emilee and Claire Jenkins

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Barbara Ann Brown Allison; two brothers, Dub Allison and Dwayne Allison; and sister, Virginia Webb.

The family request that visitation will be at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 10:00 am followed by a memorial service at 12:00pm officiated by Brother Jay Avance. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker.
