Barbara Ann Brown Allison, age 80, passed away at Lane Regional Medical Center on April 15, 2016 at 11:00am. She was born August 27, 1935, a native of Temple, Oklahoma, a resident of Baton Rouge and longtime member of First Baptist Church in Baker.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Billy Steve Allison; two sons, Ricky Allison, wife Sherry Lewis Allison and Greg Allison, wife Terri Parnell-Allison. She will always be known as a devoted and loving "Granny" to six grandchildren; Ashley Allison, Keven Allison, Brandon Allison, Shauna Nicosia, Brittni Allison, fiancé James Lugenbuhl, Michael Allison, wife Rachael Blanchard Allison, Stephanie Parnell Jenkins, husband Joshua Jenkins; six great-grandchildren, Braelyn Allison, Ella-Kate Brown, Brayden Allison, Myra, Emilee and Claire Jenkins, all who were her greatest joy and love of her life. Two brothers, Finis Paul Brown, wife Delores Brown and Gary Brown; a sister, Faye Martiniz as well as nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Finis and Pauline Brown and sister; Janie Jo Woodard.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Allison, Michael Allison, Kevin Allison, James Lugenbuhl, Doug McAdams and Darren Hillburn.

The family request that visitation will be at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Wednesday, April 20th from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Religious service will follow officiated by Brother Jay Avance. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker.
