Artie Scarbo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Artie Jean Scarbo, who left this world on May 28, 2025, to be with our Lord and Savior.

She was born October 7, 1941, and was a resident of Zachary, Louisiana. She enjoyed Crocheting and traveling and spending time with her family and friends, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Artie is survived by her son, Christopher D. Scarbo (Roxanne); daughter, Tammy Smith (Michael); grandsons, Michael R. Smith, Joshua Scarbo, Christopher Scarbo, Jermey Cutrer and granddaughters; Ashly N. Smith, and Naomi Van Straaten. She has 12 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard H. Scarbo; her parents, Robert C. Aultman and Artie Aultman; brother, Harold C. Altman; sisters, Erma Lee Smith, Mae Crain, and Virginia Seal.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, Louisiana.
