It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Arthur "Al" Louis Campo, Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather and respected member of the community. Born on September 9th, 1954, in Napoleonville, LA, Al peacefully departed from this world on March 3rd, 2024, at his residence in Baker, LA, surrounded by his loving family. Al was a dedicated family man and devoted husband to his wife Sandra Campo and a loving father to his children Nick Campo, Adam Campo, Claire Ochsenbein and Adrian Campo. His presence touched the lives of many, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him. A man of integrity and honor, Al pursued a career in the Heavy Duty Tank Trailer Industry, where his hard work and dedication shone through in all that he did.

Al is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Sandra Aucoin Campo; sons, Nick Campo (Dustin Messer), Adam Campo (Candice) and Adrian Campo; daughter, Claire Campo Ochsenbein (Kristina); 1 grandchild, Kendall Campo; sister, Laura Campo; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Al is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Louis Campo, Sr.; mother, Faye Landry Campo; and sister, Kathy Yammarino.

In honor of his life and legacy, a visitation will be held at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Rd, Baker, LA, on March 7, 2024, at 10:00 AM Public until the Memorial Ceremony at 12:00 noon, officiate by Father Frank Bass.

As we gather to remember and honor Al's life, let us cherish the memories we shared with him and find solace in the impact he made during his time with us. May he rest in peace, knowing that he was loved and will be eternally missed.
