Alton Price, Jr.

Alton "AJ" E. Price, Jr., age 73, born to Alton and Ruby Ashford Price went to be with his Lord on December 13, 2016 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. He served in the US Air Force. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.

AJ is survived by his wife, Sigrid Schneider Price; daughter, Andra Price Perez and husband, Tony of Denver, Colorado; two sons, Barry Price and wife, Deborah of Fairbanks, Alaska and Denton Price and wife, Robin of Robert, Louisiana; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Carmena and husband, Gary of Zachary, and Myra Anding and husband, Michael of Norwood; and brother, Harold Price and wife, Faye of Hohenwald, Tennessee.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Ruby Ashford Price; and son, Christopher Price.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker on Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until the memorial service at 12:00 p.m. Reverend Dr. Jonathan King with Blackwater United Methodist Church will officiate the service.
