Adam Hebert

Adam Joseph (A.J.) Hebert, age 86, former resident of Baker, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2016.
His hobby was his work. He was former owner of Hebert Carpet & Flooring, Baton Rouge. He loved watching wrestling with his family twice a week and whenever he saw them he asked "Are we watching wrestling tonight?" He often commented "This is real" and believed it!
A.J. is survived by his daughter, Sharon Hebert Fortenberry (finance' Cecil Brown) of Walker; one son, Michael Hebert (wife Denise) of Baker; three grandchildren, Mickey Duncan (wife Amy), Kyle Duncan (wife Kali), and Chad Hebert; five great-grandchildren, Zachary, Gabryel, Halle, Paige and Morgan; three sisters, Agnes Mendoza, Merian Rock, and Lillian Dipuma. He is also survived by special family members, Sherry, Michael and Michael Austin Cooper.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Myrtle Faye Hebert, second wife, Maudine Ault Hebert; parents, Joseph and Lucille Hebert, four sisters and six brothers.
The family request that visiting hours be observed on Friday, March 11, 2016 at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker from 10:00AM to 11:00AM.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 11:00AM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 6213 Groom Road, Baker, officiated by Rev Alan Moak.
Interment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Mickey Duncan, Kyle Duncan, Chad Hebert, Sterling Hebert Jr., Gary Hebert, and Zachary Duncan.
