Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, age 82, native of Brouillette, LA and resident of Baker. Aaron went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 9, 2014 at his residence. He was a pipe fitterwelder with Local 198, owned and operated AT Plumbing and Heating and retired as a Baton Rouge City Parish plumbing and heating inspector. Aaron enjoyed gardening, bird watching, hunting and beekeeping at his apiary. He was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church, lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus 3331, member of Local 198, member of the Capital Area Beekeepers Association and member of the Bear Creek Hunting Club.
Aaron is survived by one son, Daniel Paul Gaspard and wife Donna Elizabeth two daughters, Debra Ann Gaspard, Donna Marie White and husband Mike six grandchildren, Christian Gaspard and wife Amanda, Ryan Gaspard, Corey Gaspard and wife Chasity, Jessica Monique Perault, Dawn Michelle Ward and husband Rick and Lacey Marie Hawkins and husband Andrew and ten greatgrandchildren. Two sisters, Olena Bordelon of Pineville and Elena Normand of Marksville and brother, David Paul Gaspard of Dayton, TX .
Aaron is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Tommye Elaine McNeely Gaspard mother, Menda Juneau Gaspard father, Eric Joseph Gaspard granddaughter, January Lynn Biondo and greatgrandson, Jessie Biondo.
Aaron is also survived by his faithful companion, Juanita Guillot and Jolie.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home on Monday, August 11, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Visiting will continue on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
