It is with sadness that I read about the death of Rose. We were colleagues at Baker Heights Elementary School when it first opened many years ago. Rose always had a smile and positive outlook on life and especially every child entrusted in her care. She started so many on a successful path of schooling. She taught so many to read! Her legacy lives on through these many students. Condolences to Jerry and the EPPERSON's family.

Mrs Rose was such an inspiration to me as a child. She instilled in me the love of reading and learning. When I saw her a few years back, she walked in and knew me before I could greet her hello. Truly a dedicated teacher, we need more like her. The world has lost a kind loving beautiful lady. My prayers for Mr Jerry and the family, prayers of peace and comfort. She will surely be missed.
